/ Project overview
The system manages the full hierarchy from landlord to internal tenant company, property and plot, unit or warehouse, subtenant and EJARI registration. Property managers track main leases and subleases, finance users follow invoices and receipts, and the dashboard summarises occupancy, contract value and upcoming expiries.
Built with Next.js 16, TypeScript, Prisma, Zustand and Recharts, with role-based access for super administrators, property managers, finance users and read-only viewers. The data model was designed from the client's lease spreadsheet. All company names, contract numbers, plot numbers and amounts in the mockups were replaced with fictional demonstration values.
/ The customer journey
A manager opens the dashboard, sees occupancy and leases approaching expiry, then drills into a property, its units and the subleases attached to them. Compliance alerts point to contracts, EJARI registrations or licences that need action, and reports export the data for review.
/ Design and development focus
Each level of the hierarchy is a related record, so totals on the dashboard come from the same data the registers display. Expiry checks generate compliance alerts, and an audit log records changes. Role checks limit editing to the appropriate users.

/ Content and interface considerations
Developed application for a property management client. Data import from the client's spreadsheets is part of the build; publication of client-identifying details requires the client's approval.

This project shows how a lease spreadsheet can become a structured operational system. A similar platform starts with the ownership hierarchy, contract types, renewal rules and the regulatory registrations the team must track.
